  • About Me

    MY STORY

    EARLY CAREER.

After completing my degree in International Business with French, my year abroad inspired me to discover new cultures and begin teaching business English in Spain.

I was tasked with designing lessons for Skype way back when this was a novel idea, and this got me thinking about how technology could support learning.

    EDTECH.

I enrolled in a Masters in Education, Technology and Society. I was fascinated by blended learning and introduced to digital design concepts and educational psychology that lit a spark inside me that subsequently shaped the course of my future.

I started working with Speexx, a digital language learning platform that incorporated the blended learning principles that had captured my imagination during my Masters.

    EVOLUTION FROM TEACHING TO UX.

I really wanted to further explore the concepts of UX I had been introduced to in my Masters. To deepen my knowledge, I took an in-depth UX and UI course with CareerFoundry.

My goal was to apply this knowledge to tech and educational experiences that were pushing the boundries and empowering learning. I got this opportunity at Edify, a start up that worked with clients to create multi-platform learning experiences, but focused on virtual and extended reality, to solve real-world educational challenges from land surveying to bio-chemistry lab work.

Along with learning, my big passion is travel and sustainability. This inspired my venture into helping develop an iPad sales app for villas on an innovative island concept pushing the boundries of eco-tourism, tech and sustainability.
